NASHVILLE, TN … Oct. 19, 2007 … INO rockers & Southern based group Disciple will be hitting the road again for the Southern Hospitality Tour with Tooth & Nail Record’s band Spoken, Brave New World Record’s The Wedding and Rocketown Record’s High Flight Society. Having just finished up their Scars Remain tour, the band will kick off the Southern Hospitality Tour on Oct. 31 in Highland, IL and will wrap up on Nov. 18 in Manheim, PA; tour dates listed below.
After receiving placement on sports shows and in sports venues throughout the country, Disciple’s “Game On” rock hit will now be performed live at a college or university thanks to the INO Records “Get Your Game On” promotion. High school and college students across the country have been registering and voting for their school online. The grand prize includes 200 specially designed t-shirts for the winning school, an autographed Disciple CD library and a live performance from the group at a school pep rally. Deadline to enter is this Friday, but several hundred students, 40 faculty members and almost a dozen radio station have already registered and voted at http://www.inorecords.com/getyourgameon/.

The Knoxville, Tenn. foursome comprised of Kevin Young on vocals, Brad Noah on guitar, Tim Barrett on drums and Joey Fife on bass’ first self-titled studio release Disciple (2005) sold 100,000 units and brought home three No. 1 hits. Disciple has also been nominated for a whopping four Gospel Music Awards, and their sophomore album Scars Remain (2006) has already garnered a No. 1 hit. “Game On” from their sophomore project also received massive placement in sports shows across the country including “Best Damn Sports Show,” NFL’s “Total Axxess”, WWF’s “Cyber Sunday” and Speed TV’s “Speed Report,” as well as venues such as Wachovia Center in Philadelphia and even Madison Square Garden in New York City. The single was also used in promotion for “Criminal Minds” and “CSI Miami.”
